Thus with a caravan, road trips become a lot easier.

We will start with my favorite year of old chevy, the ‘69 Who could ever forget the 1969 model? This was the year a classic engine was made available, the 350 cid V-8. This great small block V-8 would continue to be produced in the US up to 2002, and is produced to this day in Mexico. The funny thing is this is one engine size you will find cut across manufacturers lines being available in GM and Ford model vehicles. ‘69 was also the first year for the K-5 Blazer.

Next we look at the 1970 model1970 had little change from the previous year, with the exception of the grille.

The 1971 Chevy truck pretty much looks the same, some very minimal changes to the interior.Chrome trim and extra padding were added depending on options chosen. If you wanted a FM radio in the truck, 1971 was the first year Chevy offered this option.

Chevrolet still refuses to mess with perfection, as they still do not change much on their trucks. A little wood grain for the interior of some models and a repositioned rear view mirror is about all there is to report for 1972.
