A little bit about Ferrari-You must read it!

Posted by car-craz

Ferrari has just introduced the “Raptor” a conventional tractor design that replaces its old 800,1100 and 1300 models. The 12 speed transmission, inboard disc brakes and independent PTO engagement come from the same components used in the Cobram series. Ferrari 599 with near-perfect 46/54 weight distribution, 454bhp and a 8000rpm red line ? Ferrari’s Testarossa was half of perhaps the greatest double act in supercar history. An era defining rivalry saw it pitched head-to-head with Lamborghini’s awesome Countach and between them, they were the kings of the road.

Ferrari’s ideas about re-capturing energy that would be otherwise wasted as heat (KERS and similar systems) and concentrating on moving less mass (which takes less energy) are the way to go. FERRARI, the PRANCING HORSE device, all associated logos and distinctive designs are property of Ferrari Spa. The body designs of the Ferrari cars are protected as Ferrari property under design, trademark and trade dress regulations. Ferrari has invested heavily - at least €200m (?158m) - in new facilities, including an ultra-modern assembly line on which the 450 bhp California and all future models will be made. It takes three days to build a single Ferrari in the old, cramped factory.

Ferrari welcomed us all a little bit early to the Hotel California, and yes, it’s a lovely place. In fact, check out the lovely face on the new 2009 Ferrari California just to see if we’re wrong. Ferrari is working with Alcoa on the aluminum “space frame” which weighs just 440 pounds, one third the weight of a steel frame. The way the frame is put together is also very important. Ferrari has time and again ranged far afield of musique concr?, and Interrupteur/Tautologos 3 is one such foray into instrumental music. But what a setting-forth!

About Honda Civic

Posted by car-craz

Honda Civic engines are very reliable if properly maintained. Honda Civic offers audio controls in the rear-seat armrest, a feature that is very rare in cars of similar class. Honda Civics now have the immobilizer system so they should not be penalized with the rest of the 2 door older Civics. Insurance companies should come under more scrutiny for their rating policies and practices.

Honda Civic engine is easy to maintain and is proven to be durable provided good maintenance. Honda Civic SIs have been noted for their ‘zip’ in the past, making novel racecars with a little modification, but this newest model hardly needs to be modified. With an amazingly tight turning radius, good balance and low center of gravity, the Honda Civic SI handles beautifully even at fairly high speeds.

Engine choices were a 1.6-liter good for 106 hp in the DX and LX or 127 hp in the VTEC-equipped EX. There was also a higher-fuel-economy coupe, the 115-hp HX. Engine choices include a powerful, yet efficient 140 horsepower 4-cylinder engine, and a high-revving 197 horsepower 4-cylinder engine in Civic Si models. A smooth-shifting 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission is available, with the Si sporting a short-throw 6-speed manual transmission. Engine modifications included twin Keihin carburetors, a freer flowing exhaust manifold, longer duration cam (15 degrees), domed pistons (bumped compression up to 8.6:1), and strengthened crank bearings. Handling was increased with a set of stiffer springs (30%), shorter stiffer struts and 13″ wheels wrapped in 155-80-13 tires. Read the rest of this entry »

About Sports Car

Posted by car-craz

Sports car in shape and design, the low-slung REMIX features a wrap-around canopy that adds a fighter jet-feel to the driving experience. The aluminium-color exterior accentuates every line and curve in the geometric, yet fluid styling. Sports car insurance tends to reflect the increased liability of having such a powerful engine on the road, and the fact that accidents are statistically more likely to happen. It can also be the case that a sports car is more expensive to repair and get rare replacement parts for – another reason why car insurance for sports cars can be extremely expensive.

Sports cars are fabulous as far as active safety is concerned. But we can?t always be sure in the case of passive safety. Sports cars are only two seaters? What about sport sedans? Sports Cars and fast cars are hot! You like Unique Whips, we are going to add more and more unique rides and videos all the time.
